Plagiarist's Corner, vol. 1: Dedicated to OJ

So, news yesterday is that OJ Simpson is basically confessing to getting away with murder in his new book. In light of this news, I've decided to dedicate my first act of plagiarism to OJ (lyrics changed slightly to fit a little better).

I Fought the Law
by The Dead Kennedys

Drinkin' beer in the hot sun
I fought the law and I won
I needed sex and I got mine
I fought the law and I won

The law don't mean shit if the glove don't fit
That's how this country's run
Twinkies are the best friend I've ever had
I fought the law
And I won

I blew Nicole's brains out with my six-gun
I fought the law and I won
Gonna write my book and make a million
I fought the law and I won

I'm the new folk hero of the ACLU
My lawyer friends think that's fine
You can get away with murder if the glove don't fit
I fought the law
And I won
I am the law
So I won.

The Stardust

You may or may not have heard, but The Stardust Casino has closed on November 1st. This place was once a bastian of mob-controlled Vegas. The loss of history is saddening, but this is what Vegas is all about these days; Make way for bigger and better.

They're
auctioning off all kinds of Stardust stuff; basically everything in the place. The auction house has all kinds of pictures of the stuff that's available. I think it would be cool to have a poker table, blackjack table, or craps table from there in my house; but I'm not willing to spend the money on it, nor do I have the room. Oh well.
